As a mother of two Girls, who decided to send them to STV, I can highly recommend this school to other parents.
Learning. Growing. Leading. Together.
Welcome to the St. Thomas of Villanova School website. Our mission is the ongoing development of a close knit Christian educational community, providing academic excellence through a challenging curriculum to all of its students. Enriched by Catholic beliefs and values, St. Thomas of Villanova School’s atmosphere seeks to cultivate the students’ spiritual, academic, physical and social abilities to the fullest, thereby laying the foundation for success as lifelong learners.
Underlying all our efforts is the belief that each of our students is a unique child of God. Our endeavor is to help the students realize their God-given potential to its fullest within the atmosphere of our small, close knit community.

Academic Excellence
We provide a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children. Students develop confidence and gain life skills through teamwork, decision making, critical thinking and integration of all academic subjects. These efforts are supported by a strong infrastructure of technology, the arts, social studies and language arts.
Faith
Our commitment to spiritual growth is based on Gospel values that touch each dimension of school life at St. Thomas of Villanova. Through religious curriculum in all grades, sacrament preparation, daily prayer, regular celebration of school mass, and prayer services prepared and presented by the students, each day provides, by living example, the message of Christ.
Family Values
One of the hallmarks of St. Thomas of Villanova is the close working relationship enjoyed by teachers, students and parents. Parental volunteerism and participation in student activities, our dedicated faculty with a low student/teacher ratio, the Family School Association, the School Board and the Athletic Department all help in creating a strong family atmosphere at our school.
Community
St. Thomas of Villanova School is a key ministry of the greater St. Thomas of Villanova parish community. Students participate in such service projects as a school supply drive for our sharing school and Christmas adopt-a-family. Students fulfill service commitments tailored to their interests and the needs of the community. This solid foundation of values inspires students to “reach beyond” our local borders.
Leadership
Students develop teamwork and leadership skills in the classroom through group projects and presentations, academic mentoring, Student Council, and other activities that create relationships across grade levels. These activities enhance confidence and foster personal growth while focusing on individual accountability to a team. The emphasis is on faith, discipline and values that help the student build character and develop good work habits that carry into adulthood.
Technology
Through the support of our Alumni Association, STV is proud to offer its students and faculty access to new and innovative technological resources that support the curriculum and generate enthusiasm as well as meaningful learning experiences across all subject areas and disciplines.
