6th-8th Grade Students Volunteer at Feed My Starving Children

Students at STV raised nearly $500 to donate to Feed My Starving Children. The 6th-8th Grade students also volunteered by working a 2 hour shift packing food to send to Honduras. It was very educational and humbling for our students to realize how many children in the world go hungry each day.

Even Sugar the middle school Elf loves Chili’s! Don’t forget you can give back to St. Thomas School all month long by eating at Chili’s in Killdeer or Arlington Heights!

8th Grade Knights of Columbus Essay Contest Winners

Congratulations to Conor McGarvey, Johnny O’Shea and Connor Nix for winning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in the Knights of Columbus sponsored essay contest! The topic was: What is the Responsibility of a Catholic Citizen in a Free Society? The boys earned a certificate and a gift card for their well-written pieces.
