St. Thomas of Villanova Spanish Students Score Well

By | May 22, 2012

Congratulations to our Spanish students from St. Thomas of Villanova School who attained national recognition for excellent performance on the 2012 National Spanish Examination. This was our first year participating and nearly all students met or exceeded the national standards.

Overall, St. Thomas earned a Silver Medal in the bilingual category, a Bronze Medal in the standard category, and 4 Honorable Mention Awards in the standard category. Attaining a medal or honorable mention for any student on the National Spanish Examination is very prestigious, because the exams are the largest of their kind in the United States with 143,641 students participating in 2012.
